LUC’S LOEMPIA’S B.V. ANNOUNCES AN INNOVATIVE SPRING ROLL AUTOMATION MACHINE TO REVOLUTIONIZE FOOD PRODUCTION EFFICIENCY

Automating the art of rolling spring rolls with precision, speed, and consistency.

Luc’s Loempia’s B.V. is proud to announce the development of it’s new Spring Roll Automation Machine, an innovative solution for automating the rolling process, which will be available end January 30th, 2025.

Luc’s Loempia’s B.V., a company specialized in producing authentic Vietnamese snacks, is thrilled to announce the development of a groundbreaking machine designed to automate the delicate process of wrapping and rolling spring rolls. This advanced technology aims to enhance production efficiency, reduce labor costs, and maintain the artisanal quality that customers know and love.

Rolling spring rolls manually is a time-consuming and labor-intensive process. Restaurants and food manufacturers face challenges such as:

  1. Inconsistent wrapping quality, leading to customer dissatisfaction.
  2. High labor costs due to the need for skilled workers.
  3. Limited scalability in meeting increased demand during peak production periods.
  4. Manual errors that lead to product waste, reducing profitability. These issues hinder businesses from scaling efficiently and delivering consistent products to customers.

Solution

The proposed solution is to automate the intricate rolling process with a specialized spring roll automation system. The project’s main innovation lies in the development of a mechanical flipping mechanism, capable of folding the delicate spring roll dough with precision and care, ensuring uniformity across all produced items.

How the product works

The spring roll flip-and-roll system is a construction that can be mounted on any conveyor belt. It consists of a station made of aluminum X-profiles, which can be positioned above the conveyor. The station includes a product carrier, two side flippers, a third flipper that flips from the front, and two teeth-like plates for the rolling process.

First, the dough with filling is placed on the product carrier. The carrier is then positioned between the two side flippers, which fold the sides of the dough. After that, the carrier is pushed onto the conveyor, where the front flipper folds the dough further. Finally, the dough is rolled by the teeth-like plates, completing the spring roll formation.
